DirectBuy Holdings

We developed a custom user experience around walking potential customers through a completely furnished and decorated house to show them a sampling of the vast number of products and savings available through DirectBuy. Using a unique new selling system called communic8 (developed by gravit8), call-center sales representatives could present dynamic content in real-time to multiple potential customers.

After photographing a completely staged home in California, I worked with DirectBuy’s senior engineers and sales teams to develop all the required wire-frames, screen flows, and graphic elements. We then implemented them into a system that could be gracefully rolled out to over 150 franchisees and used from a wide-range of devices from desktop to mobile.

To further dismantle the barrier of entry for potential customers, we integrated this technology to a front-facing network of franchisee micro-sites. Here customers could learn more about the benefits of DirectBuy and then easily engage a call center to walk them through the membership process.
